Brian Barker

Regiment: 2nd Battalion The Yorkshire Volunteers

On Tuesday the 25th of October 2016 , The Yorkshire Volunteers Regimental Association lost one of its members – Mr Brian Barker. Brian initially served as a submariner before joining The 2nd Battalion Yorkshire Volunteers at Castleford in the early 1970’s following his demob from the Royal Navy. Brian was a highly respected, active member of the Association and will be sadly missed by his comrades at the Castleford Branch
