Cpl Jack Taylor

Regiment: ACC attached to C Company, 2bt The Yorkshire Volunteers.

Jack Taylor’s funeral took place on the 9th February 2016 attended by many of his old friends and comrades from the Yorkshire Volunteers Regiment in Castleford. Jack was in the Army Catering Corps but served with the Yorkshire Volunteers. He was known by many who always appreciated the fact that no matter what time you got up or got in from exercises Jack would always be there waiting with the tea urn ready and a good hot meal. Jack was rarely seen without a smile regardless of how long he had been on duty and was always able to put a smile on your face after a long day. He will be sadly missed – R.I.P.
